I now have the Agincourt sword from Hanwei. Shipping took a while but good things come to those who wait. I must say that, while I have heard good things about Hanwei products, I never believed it until today. I am very scrutinous about swords, yet cannot aford 1,000 dollars for one. ESPECIALLY THIS WELL BUILT. The tang is peened not bolted. That is the way this type of sword should be. The edge of the blade is not extremely sharp, yet for a heavy chop, which is the way a broadsword is used, you would want it just like it is. The tempering seems to be outstanding. a flick across the edge of the blade renders a nice sing. I guess I could be less wordy and sum this up in one word...IMPRESSIVE.
