Although it didn't come with instructions I figured out how to assemble it it was pretty straight forward and the blade has alot of white wax presumeably from the scabbard overall a good buy due to the fantastic and sharp blade and beautiful tsuba Another great sword of might

It is great for a beginner in swords to get this because it shows you how to assemble and thereby how to disassemble the sword. You can learn so much and it is a great sword once it is assembled.

The edge on this blade is sharp and thick enough for practice. Upon assembling the sword it becomes obvious that the sheath is very tight fitting. This was fixed with some sand paper and patience. All the fittings fall into place perfectly and is a very sturdy piece once constructed. The balance is descent although the blade is a bit heavy. Overall its a good sword for display and practice and it also supplies a little creativity to the art of package opening. And as usual great service from Jason and Swords of Might.

You can't beat the quality of this sword for this price. No, it's not equal to a Paul Chen, but it's no where near the price either. As an introduction to Japanese swords, I would recommend this to anyone.
