The beach mats are decent cheap cutting targets, but they're very short. You will be lucky to get a few decent cuts out of them. They are easy to cut and great for beginners, but you will want to use one of the wooden stands to mount these. They are too thin for the circular stands.

good targets to practice, when two are rolled into one that is... the singles bend alot. For a dollor fifty they make a great source for practice and fun.

Great for cutting. I like to get about 50. Then make 25 double mats. Its tons of fun! Also a great way to check technique. If you can cut the single beach mat, your technique is good. Singles bend! Great cut for the buck!!!!!!!!!!!

These are way cheaper than tatami mats. They are great cutting targets, however I suggest rolling two of them together. Soak them in warm water for a few hours, dry them for an hour and you're ready to go. Buy a lot because you will use them up fast.
