Great Bokkens

I ordered a pair of these because I needed a safe way to pratice without the risk of cleaving off a body part. They are thick and have a good weight, though not like the weight of real sword. They are strong and some of the best bokkens I own. Great way to practice sword forms.

Very durable (mine has taken a lot of damage), the wood looks nice, I like the weight, and easy to use. As most other people are saying, however, the balance is unlike that of a real katana, which can make it slightly awkward when transitioning, which is the main drawback from this sword, in my opinion.

Great buy

Thick, solid construction. Actually quite beautiful wood. Felt almost the same in weight as the katana I bought. Nearly the same length as well. Bought two, both felt identical, even though one was a slight bit thicker and the other slight bit longer.

Excellent

A friend and I bought a set of these awhile back and they are still holding up to the abuse we put on them. The removable tsuba is nice however I find that it tends to slide up the blade a bit after prolonged use. The only real drawback is that I don't feel this has a realistic sword weight. The size is perfect and since it is wood you can cut down the handle or blade to match whatever sword specs you need. For the price these make great practice swords.
