Forge: Bushido Swords

We are proud to offer all of our customers something truly special. This handmade samurai katana is painstakingly forged of 1065 high carbon steel. Only the best materials are used in this beautiful sword. The tsuba design shows a coiled dragon ready to strike. The handle is wrapped in genuine rayskin, and then wrapped in Japanese cord in the traditional manner. Solid wood scabbard is hand lacquered in black. Saya ito is of quality cord. We have named this the Shinto Katana because it reminds us of the look and feel of it's Paul Chen counterpart.

I bought this katana almost a year ago and it is still going strong. Great katana, I use it for my Iai-do training and it has done me well.

Not Bad At All
Anonymous (Unknown) 3/24/2007 12:36 AM
I got this sword a few months ago. It's not a traditional sword - but it has tight ito and and for as thin as it is, a very good blade. I have since customized it a little with a new tsuba - but the sword itself is still going strong. For such a thin blade (when compared to a Hanwei Tsunami or a Cheness Shura) it is a little backyard cutting machine!
