Wow
Firehand (Unknown) 10/26/2007 9:40 PM
Just got this and looked it over, fell in love right away. I'm only giving it a 4 due to a few minor flaws. The shark skin wrap on the saya is a bit loose at one point (easily reglued) and the same is applied in two pieces with a small separation visible between the windings of the ito. Other than that I am very impressed with the fit and overall assembly. The saya is even filled to fit more precisely to the cut of the shark skin wrap. The blade on this is very sharp and nicely balanced with a wide bohi.Great work to SoM offering this up for such a good price. Very nice piece that I would say could easily sell for more than it does.

I agree with Firehands review, but im not too sure on the sharkskin, because I took some sharkskin off a real shark and it doesnt look anything like it, but all around the blade has a tight fit in the handle and is good for cutting.
