I have owned the Chinese Dragon Straight Sword for three months, now, and counting. Although I have a few complaints about this sword, I think that what you get for what you pay for deserves 5 stars.
Pros:
-Easy to maintain stainless steel blade
-Spring steel; flexible practice sword
-Excellent balance (Approx. 2.5" from hilt) due to
:--Solid, metal handguard and pommel
:--Full tang
-Can be dismantled (pommel nut is 5/16")
-Fits snugly in sheath
-Beautiful sword and sheath
Cons:
-Blade did not come with the "oriental etchings including the dragon constellation"
-Blade had minor damage on arrival
-If the pommel nut is not tightened, the blade can twist slightly; easily fixed
Bottom line: for $19.99, this practice/display sword exceeded expectations. Recommended.
