Damascus Bushi Katana

I am extremely impressed with this Damascus Katana. The saya is unique and looks even better than the online photos. The tsuba and kashira are beautiful and the sageo and tsuka-ito are of the quality that you typically see on swords that are twice the price. The Damascus blade is incredably detailed.....one of the best purchases I've made so far from Swords of Might! TRK - PDX

i will start with the cons first then go over the pros.first the box that holds the sword is pretty cheap, but cant expect much for a 260 dollar sword. there was some rust or discolor on the tsuba. the blade was not quite as functional or sharpened as i expected it to be, but then again i wasnt mislead by the site, it was just my own assumption. the saya isnt made out of the best material, but it looks great. the sword bag also looks great, but again not best material.The balance on the sword is pretty good and has a great feel on the handle. the grains in the steel are the best part of the sword. they look awesome! im glad i bought the piece, its functional and will cut, but i dont want to get to aggressive with it. i dont think it will hold up to too much cutting, it will be more of a decorative piece. shipping was very fast, three days and it was delivered. its a good sword, but i wouldnt pay more than 300. not for serious cutters, but looks great on the wall.swords of might is a vendor so the quality and abilities of the sword isnt their doing. i will shop here again for a sword with stronger cutting abilities

I'ts sooo nice! I love the saya and tsuba and its pretty afordable for a damascus steel blade!
