Damascus Flower Tsuba

I just bought this on Sunday, and it arrived today (Tuesday), and it's definitely pretty cool. For one, it's definitely heavier than I thought it'd be. Overall, it's an awesome tsuba, and it'll look great on whatever katana I put it on, but there is one thing I didn't like. It may have just been a manufacturer's error or something, but the polish is a bit uneven in two spots, one on each side of the tsuba. In these spots, it is polished more than the rest of it, making it look a bit weird in the light. However, I can fix this myself with a couple fine grades of sandpaper. Aside from that though, it looks great, and I'm sure it functions quite well. From the look of it, it's folded from some kind of steel and iron, and my guess is that the steel part is a mild or low carbon steel. No way for me to really tell without chemically testing it.
