Th above sword came to me promptly, which I appreciated and was a beauty right out of the box. I am aware of the spotty quality control levels when buying Chinese blades but the sword I received was super!! The sword was SHARP right out of the box; and the tsuka was tightly wrapped in a beautiful green-blue cord with a matching sageo knot on the saya. The blade cleaned up beautifully and was well balanced. My Sensei was impressed especially when I told him the price. Great Buy!!!

What can I say I had to call Jason and tell him how pleased I was. It came in about four days. Right out the box I could tell it was very well put together. It came very sharp and all the fittings were tight and clean.I do see the lacey wrapping but all and all its a great buy. I have a paul Chen that did not impress for a lot more money. If your thinking about buying one do,I'm going to get a few more for my class as well.

Ito and sageo are a very nice dark green but appear blue in photo.Tsuka also tapers nicely and kodogu (furniture) is tasteful and understated.
