Masahiro Elite Fuji Katana

Just recieved this sword today and i must say even with a couple minor errors with it, it's still one beautiful piece of work. The problems i found was: 1. small chip on the end of the saya 2. habaki was too tight when fitting into the saya (easy fix, i'll just draw it more to lossen it) 3. small amount of rust on the hamon. I know how to fix this, but i just would like to point that out. Also, i found the inside of the saya had a lot of wax which made a lot of residue on the blade, i worry if it sits too long it might possibly damage the blade, but i'll look into that. All in all, This sword is fantastic. The colours, the style, the elligence. I enjoy the long tsuka style and the mix of red cord on black authentic rayskin; very fitting for a samurai sword along with gold accents. The saya's decorative red lines also creates the very theme of the sword. This was actually a gift for a brother, and i feel this sword suits him almost perfectly and a good start to his own sword collection. S.O.M delivery was light speed as usual, the UPS guy should know my name now because your the only place i plan to purchase for my collection.

great display katana but nice feel. i own the complete elite series and i enjoy working the forms with all of them. only complaint i have been unable to disassemble them other than that i am most pleased with them balance and sharpness are great but took some time polishing off the secondary (knife)edge.solid 4+

This was my first katana and sword I bought from Swords Of Might. The superp quality of this sword made me double check the price. The ito and same are tight and feels great in my hands. all of the fittings are tight and look great on this sword. The sheath looks great and with a little lacquer the stand looks good too. The blade could use a bit of sharpening, but it is still a great buy. I ordered it and within a week it was on the porch when i got home from school. For $60, this is a steal and you would have to be crazy not to think about buuying this sword. This is the only place I buy my weaponry from.

I just got my E.F and i gotta tell ya i thought all these reviews were bull***t but they were all true the tsuka and the ito are tight the tsuba is beautiful and well its just a work of ART this has to be by far the greatest Katana I have ever held. Oh and its not razor sharp BUT it is SHARP.

This sword is really good for the price. The blade isn't all that sharp but if your any good with a whet stone this baby is ready for some serious cutting. The fittings are very tight as well as the ito ( hand wrap ). The saya ( sheath ) is tight and snug with no rattle. The lacquer and claw marks are done real good too. The blade also has a great feel and balance to it. Great service with Swords of Might as always with fast shipping time.
