props to SoM for the prompt shipping and answering my questions. The sword feels great, comes fairly sharp, comes oiled up for ya, and sits firm in the saya. Detail is stunning for a 70$ blade and the polish isnt bad either. If you want something for cutting for a bargin price this is it.

if your a Canadian shopper, shipping was ok took a little longer then i thought when i heard all the other reviews saying how fast the shipping was, there was a $45 customs charge for Ontario. Now the sword was pretty sharp and had no problems cutting, but the cord wrapping easily came undone might have just been my sword. there was also white stuff on the sword every time i sheathed it, the box it came in however is really beautiful. Overall good sword good for the price.

I am happy with my purchase of this sword. I wanted a sword that matched Togakure Ryu specifications for the martial art I do because we use that Ryu's sword sometimes, but not always. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a sword I'd only be using some of the time, then I saw this. The dimensions aren't exact, but they are close enough in my opinion. The box it came in is very nice, and the bevel from machine sharpening isn't nearly as pronounced as it is in the picture online. If you're considering this sword, just buy it.

I was extremely please with my first purchase from SOM. Sword was much better than expected. I had read various reviews on the internet that Masahiro Swords had QC issues. Well, I must have got a good one. Wrappings were tight, blade straight as an arrow, saya was perfect. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because I though it would have been a little sharper. Other than that, for the price this is a must have for any beginner collector. Shipping was blazing fast, from purchase to my door in 3 days. Will be doing a lot of buisness with SOM in the future.

just received this sword, its absolutely more than i thought it would be, very solid, no shake, no rattle, every part that makes the whole is great. the blade is definitely sharp enough for me, and the carry box and stand, and sword bag are absolute pluses. the blade is absolutely flawless, best bang for the buck i have gotten in a long time. swords of mights service is excellent, i will be back again, by the way, they offer the best prices on the internet. jerry feldman
