Masahiro Elite Kenshin Katana

I was extremely please with my first purchase from SOM. Sword was much better than expected. I had read various reviews on the internet that Masahiro Swords had QC issues. Well, I must have got a good one. Wrappings were tight, blade straight as an arrow, saya was perfect. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because I though it would have been a little sharper. Other than that, for the price this is a must have for any beginner collector. Shipping was blazing fast, from purchase to my door in 3 days. Will be doing a lot of buisness with SOM in the future.

just received this sword, its absolutely more than i thought it would be, very solid, no shake, no rattle, every part that makes the whole is great. the blade is definitely sharp enough for me, and the carry box and stand, and sword bag are absolute pluses. the blade is absolutely flawless, best bang for the buck i have gotten in a long time. swords of mights service is excellent, i will be back again, by the way, they offer the best prices on the internet. jerry feldman

First of all it shipped really quickly. The blade isn't really that sharp either, it could be sharper. The saya's tight but could be tighter. I also found traces of glue when i tried to disassemble it. Overall it has a nice look to it and for the price the blades worth it.

I ordered my katana on Monday and received it on Thursday. I was disappointed to see that the bottom of the display box was broken. I let that problem slide by because I am pleased with the sword itself, which is the main product, was in perfect condition. It is not loose or move around inside when the sword is swung. I patched up the broken part of the box with tape which should let it hold up fine. Overall this sword is a great buy. It has a great price and the sword is excellent. The only thing that could be improved would be the quality of the box. It is not strong enough in the bottom, but if you are looking for a great sword you should not hesitate on buying this one.

This was a great sword and would be even if it was priced higher. It had a little gunk on the sword, but all I had to do was wipe it off with a towel. I was expecting it to be a little sharper, but I can fix that with 5 min. of sharpening. Great sword. Great customer service.
