This is amazing, the quality on it is superb. Even the tsuka is very well made, the cord wrap is very nicely wrapped around the rayskin so that you can't see any wooden parts. Also the blade is just wonderful, the damascus waves are amazing. Even though I don't know the hardness level on this blade, but judging from the description of the Chris Zhou site about the Kobuse Method, I would say it is about 57 hrc. A very good price, I would suggest anyone who is looking for a folded steel sword, this would be the one for you.

One of the better looking swords that I own now. Well finished and fit together well. I have not cut with it yet but the blade have a razor sharp edge. The same was of good quality and the fittings are beautifully cast. One of those swords you just like to sit and stare at.

Wonderful fit and finish, however is prone to have a memory and will warp and bend if striking a hard object. It can be straightened, however it is much too beautiful too abuse as a beater.
