It arrived within a few days. The blade was thick and sharp and free of flaws. The hamon is fake but still nice looking, and no flaws. I haven't cut with it yet but i am sure it would be no problem.
Great sword worth much more then 50$

I received today the Musashi Sword I ordered last Friday. It arrived exactly as ordered.
I have owned many "cheap" swords over the last 30 years, but this is not one of them. This is an inexpensive sword, but the price belies the quality. I have paid 2 to 3 times as much for swords that were half the quality of this sword. The blade is substantial and the fittings are all tight. It's very well made.
Kudos to the people at Musashi for creating such a weapon, and kudos to SoM for selling it at such an unbelievable price. You definitely have a new repeat customer.

My "Musashi" arrived in pristine condition in 2 days. Overall, very nice construction, no rattle and fits tight in the saya--this may be due to the metal fitting on top of the koiguchi. I don't know if this is traditional "furniture," but I like it, because the katana stays in the saya even when held upside-down and shaken violently.
The sharpness could perhaps use some improvement; I found the other $99 katana I bought along with it to be sharper, but I intend to continue testing.
Truth be told, my plan is/was to use this Musashi as a "beater," but part of me kind of thinks that is a shame, too. It's a good looking weapon, especially at this price. Would probably give it a 5 if it had surprised me in the sharpness category.

Nice sword. Razor edge, light, quick and full tang. I easily sliced through many items with little effort. Good buy. get it.
