The Practical Shinobi Ninja-to, (SH2268, Black) whose construction patterns closely that of the Practical Katana, is a wonderful addition for those studying the Way of the Ninja. The blade is made of hand-forged high-carbon steel and is differentially tempered using a traditional claying method. All the fittings (koshirae) are done in antiqued black iron. The ornate tsuba displays the kuji-kiri (energy-channeling hand positions) employed by the mystical ninja. The tsuka is wrapped in a synthetic black ray skin (same) and the tsuka-ito is done in imitation black leather. The saya has flat black finish with demon-head bindings for the black Japanese cotton sageo and an intricate kojiri on the end of the saya. A sword no practitioner of Ninjutsu should be without.

Great sword. This was my first purchase from SOM and it surley wont be my last. I used to order from a different site and i was so pleased with the shipping and extremely pleased with the sword that i refuse to order from anyone other than SOM. Thank you.

If your a practioner or follower of Ninpo or Ninjutsu, this is the best Ninja-to around. Great weight. Very sharp and versitile. Whether its cutting a Samurai or scaling the castle wall, this is the tool of the trade!

A sword of superior quality

Aside from a slight delay in the shipping, I was very pleased with my order. The truth is, this sword is nothing short of incredible. It is simply the best nin-to around. It has the looks of a display sword, but when it is unsheathed, it is immediately clear from the blade that it was built to perform. This is a must have for any practitioner of ninjutsu, or even for those who think that the ninja were cool (and by cool I mean totally sweet).
