All I can say is this is one hefty,tight,beautiful piece of steel! I can't wait to cut with it. I study kenjutsu and after practicing with this it makes my other swords seem like toothpicks. It's not beautiful or graceful but it is what it is.

Super sharp!!!!!!!! Pool noodles, milk jugs, beach mats beware. All will fall under this blade!!!!!!!! This is my first hanwei.....and wont be my last!!!!

This sword is the perfect addition to the Practical line. If you like a little heavier blade that cuts like butter this is it. I will have to own all 4 of them, the Practical, the XL, the Wakizashi and the Tanto. What a set! Swords of Mights is the Best. Talking to Jason is like talking to an old friend.

This sword rocks!!I am a large and strong man and this katana suits me perfectly.
The balance is good, everything is fit together well and tightly, care was taken in the wrapping of the ito.
The blade is very well executed, with outstanding hamon and the lines merge into each other well. And it is RAZOR sharp.
This would be the sword I would want to take into any battle.....
I ordered this katana from www.swordsofmight.com on Thursday evening,along with two bokken. UPS delivered them today,Monday-just four days counting the weekend. This is superior service, kudos to Jason!! (The Owner)
This sword will be used, the attention to detail tells me it will be fine -craftsmanship abounds in the sword,even at this low price. Heck,even the pins in the tsuka were fit in the right directions, being reversed to allow for them not possibly being pushed out by the opposing palms in use.The tsuba is heavy duty enough and quite attractive.My wife got a chuckle out of the supplied menuki,it seems she doesn't equate me with the floral design,obviously my sensitive nature hasn't shown through for her....
I heartily recommend the purchase of this sword;at this price,it represents a good value,and I look forward to many years of use!
