  1. NICE!

I've cut ten milk jugs aligned together and let me tell you, you don't even feel the blade go trough! It is light and sharp. Okay, the first tier (from the habaki) doesn't pass the "paper test", but DON'T LET THIS DETAIL FOOL YOU!!! It can and WILL cut --the paper test is an indicator for extra sharp blades, so try something else than paper, like milk jugs, before jumping to conclusion. The other thing that, in my opinion, lets it lose a a star, is that I found the tsuka too long. Still, this odachi is NICE! I would love to eventualy compare it to the paul chen odachi (I heard it is heavy + I know for a fact that hanwei blades are fantastic). Paul Chan's odachi apart, for the quality of this long blade versus price, you've got something interesting to try cutting with.

  2. Snake Odachi

I bought this sword around Christmas. Best buy I have ever made hands down. The sword is VERY sharp, and extremely sturdy and strong. I had a little trouble pulling it out of the sheath, ha ha, and ended up cutting out a piece of my ceiling by accident. hahaha... My rents still don't know ;) But anywho, this sword is worth the price, for anybody, looking for practical use, or just for show. It's the center of my collection. =D
