I bought some of this with my Fuji Elite Katana. I thought it would come in handy if the blade ever got rust on it. After test cutting outside for a few weeks the moisture in the air causes rust to form on the blade. I put a little dab on the rust spot, rub it lightly with a q-tip cotton swab, and the rust was gone. I just wiped off the excess Metal Glo polish and sheathed the sword. This works great. If you have a carbon steel blade you need a tube of this to get rid of rust. Doesn't damage your blade at all. I've used it on my katana several times and the blade looks as good as it did when I bought it.

Just gotta say.... this stuff works wonders. I was always using my Functional Handmade Reverse Blade Sword to cut small birch trees in the back yard, and would always wipe off any residue before putting the sword back in it's sheath/scabbard/etc. Well... one time i didn't feel like wiping off the sword after using it.... and that residue sat on the blade for quite a while. when i went to wipe it off later, it wouldn't come off. This was probably a year and a half ago or so that the blade was stained. Got a tube of metal glow with a new sword i just purchased, and figured i'd give it a go on the reverse blade. took the stain off the blade like it wasn't even there to begin with.
Anybody... i mean ANYBODY who uses their sword to cut just about anything, NEEDS a tube of this.
